The Role Threepipe is growing and you will be joining us at an exciting time; as an independent agency, you will have a real opportunity to be a part of and shape our future success.
The Account Director role will involve leading a consumer team as well as being the main senior point of contact for a group of clients. You will help to retain and grow those clients through
delivering excellent, effective campaigns and developing new opportunities through your own creative and strategic input.
You will be responsible for one of Threepipe’s consumer teams with a diverse and stimulating range of consumer clients from leading FMCG brands to charity campaigns and content-led digital integration activity.
You will also be involved in new business proposals and pitches within the consumer sector.
This is an exciting role for someone with a solid PR background who has a genuine interest in being a part of an integrated agency and increasing their knowledge of content, social and digital marketing.
Experience
You'll be a consumer specialist with proven agency experience working on large consumer brands, within a PR context.
You're either an existing AD looking to switch to an innovative, exciting agency, or an experienced SAM ready to make the step up.
Your previous agency experience will allow you to confidently lead a team and assist them in creating and delivering brilliant campaigns.
You'll have experience of working with FMCG and consumer brand, plus a sound knowledge and understanding of social and digital media, alongside PR.
Key Skills
Excellent client handling skills, with the ability to form strong relationships and quickly become a trusted advisor
Well-developed strategic, planning and creative PR skills, including proposal writing
Excellent writing and editing skills
Management ability to lead, inspire, motivate and develop a team
Good existing knowledge of the role of content, social and digital, and a desire to learn more
Commercial awareness, with ability the ability to create budgets and monitor client profitability
Ability to play a key role in developing and presenting new business pitches
Good overall IT skills – Word, Excel, PPT
