Helene Placey Sentencing Policy Specialist Moderator: Renee Danser, Esq. Helene Placey has worked for the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing since January 1996. Her duties as a Sentencing Policy Specialist require her to provide technical assistance to criminal justice practitioners related to the Pennsylvania Sentencing Guidelines, research and interpret case law, Pennsylvania statutes, sentencing policies and practices. Helene is also responsible for the development and implementation of professional educational programs for criminal justice practitioners on all aspects of sentencing to include Pennsylvania sentencing guidelines, Pennsylvania statutes, and case law.
