Tiny and Mary Bellamy

Tiny and Mary Bellamy Inducted 2014 Award for Meritorious Service Carl (Tiny) and Mary Bellamy have a passion for Crusader Athletics and continue to be 2 of the most loyal supporters, attending almost every indoor and outdoor athletic event. A multi-sport athlete as a Crusader, Tiny was a member of the Basketball and Track & Field teams and played Baseball during the 1948 and 1950 seasons. Tiny graduated from NNC in 1950 and Mary in 1952. Following graduation, Tiny served as a teacher and Athletic Director at the North Slope Borough School District in Alaska and was the owner of the Bellamy Cattle Company until 2009. In addition to their support from the bleachers, Tiny & Mary have given significantly to many of the NNU Athletic Programs. Crusader programs have benefited from both financial gifts and creative donations. From donating beef cattle to be auctioned off to raise funds, to donating the hamburger to be BBQ’d in the baseball concession stand, Tiny & Mary have been a source of encouragement in the NNU Athletic Family. In their retirement, Tiny & Mary continue to give financially to the Crusader programs and fuel the competitive spirit they feel for NNU!
