tips for using gold stampings This is a fun look and super easy to do! You’ll need a rubber stamp/texture sheet (I have some nice ones on my online store, just saying. www.ChristiFriesen.com). And you’ll need some real gold leaf for best results. I use 23k gold leaf (I have that on my store too, how convenient!).
1. roll a sheet of gold polymer clay and lay a sheet of 23k. gold leaf down onto the clay, with the gold touching clay and the carrier sheet up 2. rub gently to attach the gold to the clay, then remove the paper carrier sheet 3. press a rubber stamp/texture sheet directly on top of the gold leaf-covered clay and press down firmly to impress the design into the clay, then peel off the stamp hint: a light dusting of gold mica powder will help fill in any small /cracks gaps in the gold leaf Now you’re ready to trim, cut or otherwise use the textured gold sheet to make something awesome!
