Stonehenge Secures First Tenant in New 555 6th Avenue Retail Space at the Ground Level of 101W15 by Stonehenge Town Sports International (TSI) Signs Lease with Stonehenge to Bring its BFX Studio to Chelsea This Spring New York, NY – January 31, 2014 – Stonehenge Partners, a leading full-service real estate company headquartered in New York City, has recently announced its first retail tenant in its newly constructed retail corridor at 555 6th Avenue. Town Sports International (TSI), a leading owner and operator of fitness clubs in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic regions of the United States, has secured the space for their new high end fitness concept, BFX Studio (Boutique Fitness Experience). This facility will be the first ever of its kind in New York City. Town Sports International (TSI) took possession of the retail space in 2013, and is currently in full preparation for the spring opening. The new 10,000-square-foot facility will boast cutting-edge programming, an uplifting ambience and exceptional equipment and amenities. Customers will benefit from three innovative and resultsdriven programs uniquely designed for the new studio brand:
Ride Republic – indoor cycling Private Sessions – personal training Master Class – group exercise classes
The newly constructed retail space features an all glass, 200 foot long, storefront that spans from West 15th to West 16th Street. It was designed and built by Stonehenge in an effort to establish flagship quality retail during its renovation of 101 West 15th Street. The retail replaced a previously unused below grade space. “We want to serve and improve residential lifestyle in this neighborhood, and we are thrilled to bring a retail tenant with a focus on well-being into our building,” says Jason Gohari, Director of Leasing at Stonehenge. “We are convinced that BFX Studio will create a positive, healthful and inspirational atmosphere and encourage busy professionals in the neighborhood and residents in our building to commit to a fitness routine.
