Vertical Position

Mounting Instructions Begin by attaching the arms to the base pieces.    

To begin, line up an arm on the base piece so that the pre-drilled holes line up. Use the set screws to secure the arm to the base. There are two set screws for each arm. Repeat this step until all 6 arms are attached to the base pieces. Once finished attaching the arms to the base, you’ll have two assembled rack pieces, as seen in the image on the right: Next, you’ll mount your rack to the wall.

For storing your boards in the horizontal position:    

For your boards to rest horizontally on the rack, the two bases (with arms attached) must be mounted to the wall so that they are parallel to each other, as seen in the picture above. Hold the rack up against the wall to the find the height which works best for you. Use a pencil to mark on the wall where you will be drilling (using the pre-drilled holes). Make sure that the marks are level before you start drilling. Use the 4 wood screws (included) to secure the rack to the wall using the pre-drilled holes in the base pieces.

For storing your boards in the vertical position: 

For your boards to be stored vertically with this rack, the two bases (with arms attached) must be mounted to the wall so that they are end-to-end, as seen in the picture below:

Hold the rack up against the wall to the find the height which works best for you. Note -- in order for your boards to rest comfortably in between the arms, the base pieces should be mounted at a height that is about 1.5 feet lower than the height of your tallest board. Use a pencil to mark on the wall where you will be drilling (using the pre-drilled holes). Make sure that the marks are level before you start drilling. Use the 4 wood screws (included) to secure the rack to the wall using the pre-drilled holes in the base pieces.
