New Parents’ Coffee Morning- Thursday 21st September Year 7 Parent/Tutor Consultation – Tuesday 10th October 8th September 2017 Dear Year 7 Parents, I am writing to invite you to our New Parents Coffee Morning on Thursday 21st September from 10.30 11.30am. This is an informal event held at the Lions’ Den in the Community Centre and will be an opportunity to meet other new parents. A more formal event will be held on Tuesday 10th October; this is the Parent Consultation Meeting with tutors, which is from 4pm till 6pm. This is an opportunity to meet your son/daughter’s tutor and discuss how your child has settled at Langtree. Mrs Wood, Head of Learning Support, will be at the meeting and would like to meet as many parents as possible to review how all students with special educational needs have settled into the school. Please indicate on the reply slip below which time would suit you best and if you would like to see Mrs Wood. Your son/daughter’s tutor will then give you an appointment via the Student Handbook Later in the year there will be a further parent consultation meeting at which you will be able to meet all subject teachers to discuss your child’s progress and attitude. I look forward to seeing you on Thursday 21st September and Tuesday 10th October.
