USF Sarasota-Manatee Student Government Association Judicial Branch June 26, 2013 C0306 Supreme Court Members in Attendance: Kyle Kern – Chief Justice, Jesse Millican – Associate Justice, Zachery Stroup – Associate Justice Student Services Members in Attendance: Bryan Valentine Guest(s): Christopher Mowry – Acting Clerk of the Court, Todd Huges, Mathew Ward, J.D. Lotz, Jessica Jensen, Kaitlyn Daniel Call to Order: 12:03pm by Kyle Kern
Additions/Deletions to the Meeting Minutes: Change Topher to Christopher. Add Student Government Seal. Zach motioned to approve. Jesse seconded. Approved pending changes. New Business: Ad Hoc Committee for editing of the Student Constitution is still forming, currently waiting on additional members from Judicial Branch to be decided. Kyle motioned to table ERC-ROP till the next meeting, Zach seconded, Approved. Kyle noted that they are still seeking a Clerk of the Court as well as volunteers. Zach motioned to move the vote for Senior Justice to the next meeting due to Justice Manuel Bass being unable to attend today’s meeting. Jesse seconded, approved. Announcements/Upcoming Events The next Judicial Branch meeting will take place next week at the same time (12:00pm) in room C306. The Justices will be taking a trip Friday to the St. Pete campus to meet with the other Branches from Tampa and to discuss goals and objectives. Meeting Adjourned: Jesse motioned to adjourn the meeting and Zach seconded, approved. Meeting adjourned at 12:14pm by Kyle Kern.
