Verona’s Bullrush Jamboree Lacrosse Tournament: A great opportunity to prepare for State Championship tournaments. Historically, the winners of the Bullrush have consistently made the Championship round at the Wis. State Tournament. High caliber Varsity Boys High School teams from Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota. Consistently recognized by both coaches and players as a well-run tournament, with competitive games. College coaches scout the tournament Will be celebrating the 15th Anniversary in 2015!! TOURNAMENT DETAILS Location: Verona Area High School, 300 Richard Street, Verona, WI 53593 Team Tournament Fees: Early Registration (by March 15, 2015): $550 Registration after March 15th: $650 Registration Deposit: $150 TOURNAMENT FORMAT In an effort to keep the games as competitively balanced as possible, the Bullrush will attempt to have 2 separate division brackets, A (Varsity) and B (JV). Please indicate the Division (A or B) your team prefers. •

NOTE: Tournament Entrance Cutoff Date: April 10th, 2015 – We will decide the actual tournament size, bracket structure and pairings by this date based on teams which have submitted their entry fees. If we need to trim the number of teams to an even number, don’t be the odd team out; last in will be first out. First round game are expected to start at 9:00 AM on Saturday morning with games to following Saturday afternoon, wrapping up on Sunday. Final format and schedule will be based on final enrollment count.

TEAM ROSTERS Team rosters are due by Friday, April 17th, 2015. We request a full team roster for the tournament program. This is an in-season Varsity tournament and players on the tournament roster must be eligible to play and be listed on that team’s regular season roster. [email protected] Phone: (608) 332-0002 ENTRANCE FEE REFUND POLICY No refund on entrance fee will be made to any team that withdraws from the tournament after the registration closing date. $150 registration deposit required to reserve spot in tournament. Teams will receive refund on $150 refundable deposit after the team has made full registration payment by April 10th, 2015. The Tournament Director, Committee, Verona Lacrosse Club, its Officers, Coaches and Volunteers shall not be responsible for expenses incurred by any team that withdraws from the tournament. The Tournament Director has the authority to cancel, reschedule, relocate or abbreviate any game, to include the entire tournament, due to: climatic conditions, other acts of nature or other conditions affecting the tournament. The Tournament Director reserves the right to modify the length and location of any game, or the tournament. The decisions of the Tournament Director are final. No protests allowed.

ENTRANCE FEE REFUND POLICY (Continued) The Verona Lacrosse Club, its Officers, Tournament Staff and Volunteers will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by an team, including the cost of registration, in the event games are discontinued or canceled due to inclement weather, adverse field conditions, or other conditions affecting the tournament. In the unfortunate event that the tournament will be unable to proceed, the following guidelines will be used regarding the refund of entrance fees: 1) No refunds will be given for shortened games or schedule changes during the tournament (weather or other reasons). 2) If the entire tournament is canceled before the start of any games, no more than 80% of a team’s entrance fee will be refunded. 3) If the tournament is canceled before Saturday’s play has been concluded, no more than 50% of the team’s entrance fee will be refunded. 4) If the tournament is canceled after Saturday’s play has been concluded, no refund will be provided. TOURAMENT RULES 1) This is an in-season Varsity tournament and players on the tournament roster must be eligible to play and be listed on that team’s regular season roster. 2) Honor the Game and respect all competitors. Foul language or other unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated, on or off the field. 3) Players can be ejected by referees or tournament staff for fighting or other unsportsmanlike conduct. Ejected players will not be allowed to play in next game. 4) Trophies “The Rock” will be awarded to top finishers. 5) Tournament Director has final say on any ruling or tournament clarifications. 6) The tournament bracket boards will be updated throughout the weekend. 7) Standard NFHS rule with the following changes: a) 2 x 25 minute running-time halves. No sideline horn subs. b) The last two minutes of each half will be stop time. c) Penalties will be assessed at 150% of normal (starts running when play restarts; penalty cannot end on a dead ball). d) Overtime periods will be a 6 minute running time, with the last 2 minutes stop time. 1 timeout per team per overtime. e) Two timeouts per half – will be stop time. f) Stick checks will only be at Coach’s challenge with one free challenge. Official’s timeout. g) Game field dimensions may vary slightly from the official dimensions. h) “Penny” jerseys may be allowed based on weather conditions at game time. Page 3 of 4
