Care Instructions
We Do Not Recommend...
Our specially formulated vinyl gives extended protection against biological growth. However, most liner problems are due to misuse of chemicals, either too much or too little. For proper chemical balance, your Secard Pools representative can provide you with the proper direction for maintaining water chemistry. Special attention should always be given to the waterline portion of your liner. The section from the waterline up, is the most vulnerable portion of the liner and should be cleaned regularly to keep your liner looking fresh and vibrant all year long.
NEVER DRAIN YOUR POOL COMPLETELY for any reason without consulting your Secard Pools representative for advice. The older the liner, the higher the risk of it shrinking and not stretching back into place without ripping or causing other structural damage to your pool. If you’re having trouble with your water chemistry, Secard Pools can assist you in correcting it without draining your pool.
Warranty
Upgrades
Secard Pools warrants to the original pool liner owner only. Secard Pools will at its option, repair or replace any liner that has a seam separation, and bear all charges for material and labor for a period of one year from date of installation. Thereafter, price will be pro-rated accordingly, based on the age of the liner. This warranty is limited to the failure of seams only. The repair or replacement does not include labor or installation charges, the cost for chemicals or water or any other costs. See your Secard Pools representative for a percentage chart breakdown.
Ask about our special 26 mil textured material called Posi-trac. Posi-trac is used for added traction on vinyl covered stairs and benches. Your Secard Pools representative can show you which of our patterns are available for this upgrade.
