National Convention 2017: New York, New York The NAEA National Convention is a great time to network and learn about the career path you have embarked on. Planning for the Convention is one of the most fun and also most stressful parts of running a student chapter. Where will you stay? How will you get there? Most importantly, how will you pay for your trip? One of the best resources is your college or university. Many educational institutions offer student organizations support with the planning process and assistance to help pay for a portion of the trip. NAEA provides discounted hotel rates for those traveling to the Convention. Look early and often to find the lowest rates on hotel and airfare. Finding out rates this early can help set fundraising goals for your chapter or communicate the amount that each person will need to contribute. Get creative and find ways that your student chapter can fundraise through gallery shows, community outreach, and online campaigns. To find out more about how to plan for the Convention watch the recorded webinar, START NOW: Plan Your 2017 NAEA National Convention Experience in NYC! We cannot wait to see you all there!
