VOLUNTEERS NEEDED The VITA Program offers free tax help to people with low to moderate-income who cannot prepare their own tax returns. Volunteers are needed to help prepare basic tax returns. Community Action Council will provide training for all volunteers. Volunteers will assist with preparing federal and state income tax returns through one-on-one counseling. These services are provided free of charge through the VITA program. The program will begin in January and continue through April 15. Volunteers will serve two days per week and usually four hours per day.
