— Sunday Mornings—
- THE GOSPEL The Gospel is at the core of everything we do at TGP Wardville. The Gospel is (briefly) this: In the beginning God created men in his own image. Our purpose was to worship and glorify our Creator. However, man quickly fell into sin by disobeying God. This sin separates us from our Holy Creator God. But God loves us so much that he sent his son, Jesus, to die on the cross in our place. His resurrection is proof that he paid our sin in full. The only saving response to this is faith in Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
— WHY “THE GATHERING PLACE” — The "Gathering Place" name comes from Luke 15:1, when sinners were drawing near [gathering] to Jesus in order to hear Him teach about God's Kingdom. He was a Gathering Place. Wherever He was, sinners gathered around Him, and He welcomed them. Likewise, we hope to be a church that is so marked by the character of Jesus that sinners feel welcome to come and hear the very words of God spoken as we study the Bible together. We believe that this is how He transforms us from sinners into saints! www.tgpwardville.com

— COMMUNITY — Life groups are essential to the mission of TGP Wardville. We believe that the gospel creates community - a group of people who are bound together by the gospel who commit to “do life” together. We see life groups as the best way we can, as a church, live out the gospel in community and fulfill the “one-anothers” in the New Testament.
