Supplies Needed • 1 pkg. Elements Natural Jelly (20 - 2 ½" x 42") • 1 pkg. Elements Warm Bundle 1 (5 – 18" x 21") • 35" x 35" Batting • Coordinating thread • Basic sewing supplies • Sewing machine • Iron and pressing surface

Instructions Read all directions before beginning project. Do not prewash fabrics. Before cutting, press fabrics with a dry iron on cotton setting. Use a ¼" seam allowance and sew fabrics with right sides together (RST) unless otherwise noted.

1. Set aside four Jelly strips for binding. Cut the following pieces from eight different remaining Jelly strips and refer to Diagram A to label each piece as it is cut: 1 - 2 ½" x 5" 1 - 2 ½" x 6" 2 - 2 ½" x 7" 1 - 2 ½" x 8" 1 - 2 ½" x 9" 2. Cut the following pieces from the Bundle (Dia. A). Red: 2 - 2 ½" x 18" Subcut two of each: 2 ½" x 5", 2 ½" x 6", 2 ½" x 7" Orange, Dk. Red, Dk. Orange: 1 - 18" x 18" (backing) 1 - 2 ½" x 18" Sub-cut one of each: 2 ½" x 5", 2 ½" x 6", 2 ½" x 7" Purple: 1 - 18" x 18" (backing)

Care instructions: Wash in cool water; use dye catcher when washing for the first time and remove immediately from washer. Hang or lay flat to dry.

Project Instructions Continued 3. Layout the cut pieces as shown in Diagram B; sew RST into rows. Note: Rows will be different lengths. Press seams open and label each row.

4. Pin and sew rows together keeping left edge even (Dia. C). Press seams in one direction. Trim the right side even to a width of 24". The length should measure 30".

5. Sew two 18" x 18" squares together to make a row. Repeat with the two remaining squares to make a second row. Sew the rows together to make a 35 ½" x 35 ½" backing (Dia. D). 6. Layer the backing wrong side up, batting, and wall hanging front right side up; pin or baste. Quilt with free motion back and forth across the segments. Trim the backing and batting even with the front. 7. Sew binding Jelly strips together end to end to make one continuous strip approximately 160" long. Trim one end and fold ½" to the wrong side. Fold in half lengthwise with wrong sides together; press. Leaving a 2" tail on folded end, place cut edges of folded binding even with the edge of the quilt top and sew, mitering the corners. Overlap ends; trim any excess. Enclose raw end and finish sewing the binding. Fold binding to the back and hand stitch.
