Support the Lee/Walsh BBA! I support Sen. Mike Lee and Congressman Joe Walsh’s Balanced Budget Amendment (BBA) which would require Congress to balance the federal budget every year. It would limit spending to 18 percent of Gross Domestic Product and require that any effort to raise taxes or raise the debt ceiling would need a supermajority (two-thirds vote) in both chambers.
