Groundwater, Drinking Water, & Water Pollution
Friday, February 27, 2004 Teachers participated in a number of hands-on activates. Teachers worked in small groups to understand the basics of groundwater simulation, water filtration, and the amount of potable water on Earth. In addition, there were also educational presentations given throughout the day. In the afternoon, the group went on a field trip to Meadville’s Wastewater Treatment Facility.
Teachers from many different areas of study were able to meet, greet, and share ideas for their classrooms.
