The section is bordered by National Forest land on four sides. The Fridley fire of 2006 passed through but avoided this cabin and it’s view shed. There is evidence of the fire as you meander through the forest on the way up. The road is seasonal via SUV and follows beautiful Dry Creek a good part of the way. There is no current formal home-owners association as yet but neighbors do pitch in to fix the road as they did this spring after an unusually heavy snow melt washed out the road in several spots.
