Ladies’ Luncheon
New Directory Coming Soon We are once again in the process of updating our directory. The proposed pages are posted on the bulletin board. We are asking everyone to check their information and mark it so that the office knows you have approved it “as is.” If changes need to be made, please make them directly on the page or email them to the office.
Mt. Dora Food Drive Mt. Dora Children's Home is kicking off their Annual October Food and Supply Drive. The food and supplies will make a difference in the lives of children and families who so desperately need our help. Please take a list of items needed from one of the foyer tables so you can purchase some of those items when you do your weekly shopping. Donated supplies should be placed under the kitchen counters for pick-up the week of November 10th. Walmart and Sam's gift cards are also helpful for purchasing perishable items such as meat, produce and diary products. Thank you for your support and generosity.
Bowling Event for College Group
On Friday, October 10th, the College group will be meeting for a fun evening of bowling and fellowship at 8 p.m. at AMF lanes on 56th street near USF. If you have questions see Drew Burgett.

Our next Ladies’ Luncheon will be at Grillsmith, located at 14303 N. Dale Mabry Highway, on Tuesday October 14th, at 11:30 a.m. All women of the congregation and their guests are invited to attend.
American Heritage Girls We have begun our American Heritage Girls program aimed at teaching and serving girls ages 5-18. This program is the female counterpart to our boys’ Trail Life program. We are in need of adult volunteers in order to get the program up and running smoothly. Please consider volunteering your time to this worthy organization. For more information, please see Jodi Hale.
Trunk or Treat
On Wednesday, October 29th at 6 p.m., we will be having “Trunk or Treat” and games and prizes under the tent! Kids can dress up in their favorite non-scary costumes. Adults can enjoy watching the kids and fellowship with each other. This will be an exciting time for you to invite your friends and family to join in the fun. We do need a few volunteers to help with each game to ensure everyone has a great time. If you can help, please put your name on the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board. Volunteers will need to be at the church between 5-5:30 p.m. to help set up. If you are decorating your trunk, please be at the church by 5:30 p.m. There will be a contest for the best decorated trunk and a gift card given out to the winner at the end of the night. Please see Christina Perricone if you have any questions or need more information.
