Quoting women’s coach Jim Blaisdell

“We are looking forward to this week and hope to get a lot accomplished. We will be able to get two meets in one week for a lot of our athletes and this will give us a chance to take most of our team with us. We will be competing against teams from all over the nation and the meets should have very good competition. This week will be a great opportunity for us to continue to improve and get more conference qualifiers and hopefully pick up some NCAA region qualifiers as well.”

Men’s head coach Dan Walker on this week “We’re excited for this week which will give everyone two op-

portunities to compete and get some improvements. It will give the team a chance to compete in a new area and against teams from across the country. Most of our distance runners will also be competing in their best events and we should see good improvements there. We continue to look for more qualifiers and improvements and we’re looking forward to this week.”
