'The Webster L i t e ~ a r ySociety was organized September 19, 1891, and is the oldeat of the five existing literary societieq of the College. The name, Wel~ster,has alway3 been an inspiration to its members. The purpose of the society is to aifold an opportunity for practical trainiilp in the art of public speaking. This i, acconlplished thru debate, extemporaneous speaking, and oratory.
