WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 10-16
GOSPEL CHALLENGE / WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 10-16 Throughout our Be A Bringer series, we want to put some “tools in your toolbox” to help you bring Jesus to people, and bring people to Jesus. This week, consider memorizing these questions from Share Jesus Without Fear, by William Fay. These questions are designed as “conversation starters” about matters of faith. The key here is to be an authentic and active listener, prayerfully discerning where someone is coming from spiritually so that you might share the truth of Jesus in the most informed and effective way possible. - Do you have any kind of spiritual beliefs? - To you, who is Jesus Christ? - Do you believe there is a heaven or a hell? - If you died today, where would you go? Why? - If what you believe were not true, would you want to know?
Here are two Scripture verses that can help you speak the Gospel to others. Memorize these along with the questions above to be ready to be a bringer! “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” (John 14:6, ESV) “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21, ESV)
