Mrs Cathy Moden - Headteacher I have always been passionate about how children learn and have been a teacher for 30 years starting my career in Surrey and moving to Hampshire in the late 1980s. I have been at Hiltingbury since September 2005, originally as the Deputy Headteacher. Since 2010 I have periodically acted as the headteacher, appointed fully to the post in March 2014. I have many years of experience of being a governor both at Hiltingbury and at my previous school. As the headteacher I attend the meetings of the full governing body and the committees. It is a pleasure to work in partnership with such an enthusiastic and proactive governing body who provide both support and challenge to ensure high expectations and outcomes for all. We have a strong vision and an ethos at Hiltingbury Infant School and it is very exciting to be working in collaboration with the Governors, staff and parents to move the school forward from our outstanding Ofsted inspection, in a period of significant change in education.

Winter Reading Challenge - Chandler’s Ford Library Chandler’s Ford Library are running a Winter Reading Challenge from now until 28th January 2017. It is for all ages (from 0 all the way up to 783). If you are interested please go along to the library for more information and to pick up a collector’s booklet.
