Are you a parent, teacher or church leader of children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old? Well then this announcement is for you! The ‘Boundless Flat Sally/Sam’ is inspired by Jeff Brown’s book, Flat Stanley. With Flat Sally and Flat Sam we hope to help children understand the global scope and reach of The Salvation Army beyond their neighbourhood. It is our hope that they will be excited to learn about junior soldiers just like them in 126 countries around the world, and see a little bit of their community! Children, here’s what you need to do: 1. Print out a copy of Flat Sally or Sam 2. Decorate her/him to look like you. 3. Go on an adventure in or around your neighbourhood. Make sure to go with an adult. 4. Take photographs of and/or with your Flat Sally/Sam and have a parent or guardian send them to us at [email protected].
