CREATION CARE: After God created everything, He looked at all that He had done and then He rested. Look at all God has created. Praise Him for it and care for it.
MEMORY VERSE Psalm 139:13-14 “For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
Read Exodus 20:11. Rest means to take a break and relax—to stop doing work. Rest doesn’t have to be boring. Worship, play, and enjoy your day of rest with God.
Worship the GOD OF WONDERS! We worship God today as Creator of heaven and earth. After creating everything, He rested from His work. Just as God rested, we can rest and enjoy God all day. That’s worship!
Read Exodus 20:8 and Genesis 2:19-20. In the fourth commandment, God says, “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it (LYHO) __ __ __ __.”

What does Sabbath mean? It’s the day of the week chosen for worship and resting from work. For some it’s on Sunday, for others it’s on Saturday.
