Rose Haven Heritage Garden
T
he Temecula Valley Rose Society owns and maintains the Rose Haven Heritage Garden in Temecula. This beautiful garden is open daily from dawn to dusk year-round for the public to enjoy.
To get to Rose Haven from Rancho California Road, take Ynez Road south to Jedediah Smith Road and turn left. From Temecula Parkway (Highway 79 South), take Jedediah Smith Road north two blocks.

The garden features about 2,000 roses: hybrid teas, oribundas, climbers and mini roses, plus a drought-tolerant garden and reecting pond. Workshops held at Rose Haven in January and February are open to the public and focus on pruning; spring activities include planting and fertilizing. Visitors are always welcome.

Rose Society members participate in many community beautication and outreach projects, sharing Rose Haven Heritage Garden blooms with the Temecula Public Library, the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, Hospice of the Valley and others. Society members have helped plant roses at several area schools, assisted with planting the gardens at Habitat for Humanity homes in Temecula, and planted rose gardens near the chapel at Sam Hicks Park and at Temecula City Hall. We encourage school gardens and have a Youth Gardening Program. Membership is open to anyone interested in roses, gardening and open spaces. New members are always welcome.
