Christmas at Cheshire Reindeer Lodge would not be complete without a visit from Emmaus School. Elf Bernard told us we are legends as he welcomed us once again to the panto show. Before the show we were welcomed by some very excited elves who took us to visit the reindeer. We learnt lots of fun reindeer facts from Elf Candy before feeding the reindeer their special reindeer food. It was fun watching their slobbery lips lap up the treats, so we had to make sure we cleaned our hands with anti-bacterial gel after we fed them. While we sketched the reindeer, we had our photo taken in Santa’s sleigh with Ambrose (a very large reindeer) and Elf Tink. The show was the highlight of the day as the Emmaus Elf Band, led by Ms Duffy on guitar, entertained us. Elf Bernard fell in love with Ms Duffy all over again and swept her off her feet while Elf Trixie led the singing. Father Christmas was so impressed with our rendition of ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’ that he gave us an early Christmas present! Many thanks to all who helped us on the day and to all our parents for their contributions which made this wonderful Christmas adventure possible. ‘I liked feeding the ‘Going in the sleigh was reindeer because it felt fun because I got a photo with Ambrose the tickly’ - Georgia reindeer’ - Remy
