Celebrate Recovery Anyone with hurts, habits, or hang ups is welcome to join us every Friday night at 6:30 PM as we learn to live our lives anew in Christ using a 12 Step Recovery process. What do you need to celebrate recovery from? Do you find yourself living to eat, not eating to live? Have you ever felt helpless and hopeless in your circumstance? Welcome to Northside - Join Larry Jones tonight, January 29, from 5:00 6:30 PM upstairs in the Cafe for a short seminar designed to help you discover the basics of the Christian faith, what kind of church we are, and how to become a part of the Northside family! Childcare will be provided. Sign up at northsidecc.org/events. “Stealth Mode Middle School PJ Fast Food Progressive Dinner Night” - Grades 6 to 8 on March 10 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM. Register and pay $5 on-line through March 6 at northsidecc.org/studentevents. Students must be registered in order to attend; friends are welcome to register too. Only 46 spots are open! Pajama’d students venture to an assortment of locations for a progressive dinner and fun. Students will be dropped off and picked up at Northside. Adult leaders are needed - contact Becky at [email protected] to volunteer or to request an application to serve. Student Ministry Super Bowl Party - February 5, 6:00 PM to half-time. Grades 6 to 12. It’s a Football Feast. Guys bring savory; girls bring sweet. Paper Football Tournament, games, tons of fun even for those who don’t like football. Families are welcome! The WKND- Zombie - February 26, 4:00 - 8:00 PM in the Student Center. Grades 6 to 12. A youth worship night based on Ephesians 2:1-10. Pay $5 at the door and includes dinner. My Northside - With My Northside you can: manage and update your basic membership information, find available Community Groups, connect with your Community Group members, view our Directory, give financially, register for events, and view Northside event calendars. The benevolence team is led by Brook Thornton, and overseen by adult minister, Larry Lamb. To discuss other ways this team can help you, please email Larry at [email protected] or call 757-595-5890. Cookie Callers - We want our visitors to feel welcome and appreciated, and one way we show that is bringing freshly baked cookies to their doorstep!
