Why We Thank Our Mothers

Why We Thank Our Mothers Mother's Day Brunch this Sunday Every year, we take one day to honor and celebrate mothers. If we are honest, mothers deserve more than just a day each year. Mothers have one of the hardest jobs and responsibilities in the world. Mothers are always on duty. It doesn’t matter if they are sick, tired, or busy, children always want their mother. She is always there when we need her, even when we are older and no longer live at home. We would like to take a moment to thank all of the mothers, those who raised us and other women who helped make each of us who we are today. Thank you... • • • • •

For showing us the unconditional love of God. For making us feel special and important, even in our down moments. For taking care of our scrapes, bruises, and other boo-boos. For listening to us when all we need is a friendly ear. For wiping away our tears and putting a smile on our face.

Thank you for all of this and so much more. There is no way we can thank you for all that you do for us. As a small thank-you for everything you do, Clay Center Christian Church invites you to a Mother’s Day Brunch this Sunday, May 14, at 9:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. Invite your family and friends!

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday and being able to honor you in this way.
