A TIMELY SUGGESTION
RABBI ROTH TO PREACH
Readers of the Bulletin received notice last week of the 1951 Book of Remembrance, which will again be
published for the Shevuoth festival. Enclosed with that notice was a form which we asked you to complete and return to the synagogue office, au¬ thorizing the insertion of the names of those whom you would like to have memorialized at Yizkor services.

SERMON
SATURDAY
This Saturday morning at 10:45, Rabbi Sol Roth will preach his "fare¬ well" sermon before a K. J. congre¬ gation. Rabbi Roth has been with us since the last High Holidays, when he was engaged to conduct the Auxiliary Services. In the brief period of his

THE PARENTS' CLUB EXPECTS YOU
THIS
TUESDAY
The Kehilath Jeshurun Parents' Club is expecting you — and, indeed, looking forward to having you — this Tuesday evening, May 22nd, at its
Closing Meeting of the Year.
On the various occasions during the past year, when the Parents' Club held its Open Meetings, a gen¬ eral invitation was extended to read¬ ers of the Bulletin (and their friends; We were most gratified to note that our invitation was accepted by many men and women who are not mem¬ bers of the Club, and we feel justi¬ fied in the belief that the work of the Parents' Club on behalf of our Re¬ ligious School and Jewish education generally, commanded the attention of those who are seriously concerned with the religious training of oui youngsters.

GIFT OF SILVER TORAH
ORNAMENTS RECEIVED Last week, the Congregation re¬ ceived a beautiful gift of Torah orna¬ ments from our devoted members, Mrs. Frank Morganstem and her son, Alexander. The gift consists of a
Crown, Breast-plate and Pointer (Yad), all in sterling silver and beau¬ tifully engraved, and was made in memory of Frank Morganstem. It is, indeed, a most fitting tribute to the memory of a dear departed one. We plan to consecrate these sacred vessels on the first day of
Shevuoth at synagogue services, on the festival that commemorates the giving of the Torah at Mt. Sinai. We extend our heartiest thanks to the Morgansterns, and our hope that the Almighty will bless them richly for their generosity to the House of God.
The topics that were discussed at these meetings and, even more par¬
ticularly,
the lively question-andperiods that followed each talk, gave evidence of the interest that was aroused by the young but answer
energetic Parents' Club.
The meeting this Tuesday evening will bring our season to a close. Our aim at this meeting is to be a bit more informal to give our guests a chance to chat among themselves, to —
spend a few moments with the Reli¬ gious School staff, and to hear a few words from our guest speaker, Rabbi
Joseph H. Lookstein. We should like you to make it a point to be present. The meeting will start at 8:00 o'clock (in the Social, Hall, as usual) and a collation will be served. All in all, we know you will spend an enjoyable evening.
