Species of fish that migrate up the watershed and this creek include fall-run Chinook salmon and winter-run steelhead. Common resident species are rainbow trout (generally above 1,000 feet elevaon), hardhead, pike minnow, and sculpin.

Water Rights The Williams Ranch has pre-1914 Adjudicated Water Rights from Old Cow Creek. The ranch is entled to a one third allotment of approximately 14 cubic feet per second (6000+ GPM).

Topography The acreage is generally characterized as gentle rolling to level terrain. Elevaon ranges from approximately 1160' to 1450'. There are several areas of Oak woodland and open pastures. Approximately 4900' of Old Cow Creek flows through the southern poron of the ranch.

Zoning The Williams Ranch acreage is zoned Exclusive Agricultural (EA) District The ranch is also in a Agricultural Preserve (AP) District and is taxed under California’s Land Conservaon Act or Williamson Act, which can lower the property taxes considerably. The General Plan is Agriculture Grazing (AG).
