Willmar Hockey Association Parent Code of Conduct
Willmar Hockey Association Parent Code of Conduct Hockey Association has implemented a Code of Conduct guideline for all parents. Listed below are some of the more common occurrences we hope to eliminate along with the penalties if they occur. Other occurrences if not listed will be dealt with as they arise. This is a non-negotiable commitment made by the parent's in regard to their conduct while representing or being present at any and all Willmar Hockey events. It is therefore, MANDATORY, that each parent signs this Code of Conduct and hand into their team manager or coach prior to the start of the competitive season.
Offense 1. Initial warning by game official for vulgar, rude, profane or taunting mannerisms or
Penalty Written warning by association
language 2. Going onto the ice surface (as a means of protest)
Ejection from facility for that game or remainder of tournament
3. Throwing objects unto ice surface, in players area
Ejection from facility
minor officials area, or at another individual (as a

4. Damaging property belonging to any individual team, association, or arena
Barred from attending further events with that organization for that season
5. Physical contact with any player, coach, official league representative, arena personnel, or spectator

Ejection from that game
7. Being involved in any activity that would warrant summoning of law enforcement officials
Barred from attending further WHA events for remainder of season
8. Any other conduct that is not in compliance with WHAA Board to determine penalty standards of play and spectatorship
*** Any parent unable/unwilling to serve penalty is subjecting their skater to be withheldfrom any game or tournament until penalty is served
