Sisters for Soldiers On November 6, 2014 Alpha Pi held our first annual fall philanthropy event, Sisters for Soldiers. The ladies of Pi Beta Phi were generous enough to let us host the event in their house on campus. Many members of the ROTC came out to support our cause, as well as other Greek and registered student organizations. There were tables set up with paper, markers and pens where students wrote letters expressing their appreciation for the men and women deployed overseas. We also collected items for care packages such as non-perishable foods, toiletries, and games to send with the letters. We were overwhelmed by the support we received for this event, and are proud to announce that more than 550 letters were written! -Emily Prendergast
