TWO FENCE CHALLENGE Please nominate one rider from your school to represent you in the two fence challenge which will be held at the end of the day before the unmounted prize giving.

NOVELTY RACE An unmounted novelty race will run just prior to prize giving where prize giving is held. We require four riders from each school to compete in this event.

PRIZES • Individual ribbons 1st – 6th for Showjumping classes • Ribbons and prizes for the highest placed six school teams • The Woodford House Salver will be presented to the overall winning school • There will be a special prize for the winner of the Two Fence Challenge • Spot Prizes during the day

Conditions • Riders may compete on up to two horses • Entries only accepted online • No late entries will be accepted • All competitors enter at their own risk • All events run under ESNZ rules • All riders must choose one Showjumping height to compete in • Combinations entering the 80cm class must not have competed over 100cm in the previous season • Combinations in the 95cm class must not have competed above 110cm in the previous season • Riders’ entries for classes they are not eligible to compete in under these rules will not be accepted • School riding attire is to be worn while competing and to the unmounted prize giving • The committee and judges reserves the right to eliminate any rider or school who: - In their opinion does not ride in a safe and competent manner - Is not a current pupil of the school they are competing for • Cross country jumps must not be jumped • Please treat the grounds and facilities with respect at all times • Please keep the main Equestrian Park gate closed at all times • Any enquiries on the day can be made at the office • There will be spot prizes for some lucky riders who have been nominated by judges and gate stewards for effort and politeness etc. • All riders must respect the stewards and judges decisions • Teams must be made up of a maximum of four riders from each school which must be written on the entry forms. All team members’ points will count towards the final result. If schools do not have enough riders to make up a team they may still enter as a smaller team • A coffee stand will be in operation

Additional information Havelock North High School is running an Interschool event at the same venue the following day, Tuesday 26 September. We encourage competitors to attend both events which will make it a worthwhile trip for competitors travelling from outside of Hawke’s Bay. Yards are available on the grounds. Powered sites and toilet/shower facilities are also available.
