Woodford State Park Welcome to 398-acre Woodford State Park. At 2400 feet in elevation, Woodford has the highest state park campground in Vermont. Woodford is located on a mountain plateau and surrounds Adams Reservoir. The high elevation spruce-fir-birch forest provides covers the park. The park borders the George D. Aiken Wilderness Area of the Green Mountain National Forest. There are several lakes and ponds in the surrounding area.
