started knitting as a kid after my mom got rid of the television set. Since I grew up to be an artist, I can’t really argue with her theory that TV stunts creativity. I quickly became one of those people who has a closet or a room dedicated to fabric, yarn, and the pursuit of craftiness. Currently I’m turning my stash into a career: I teach crafting workshops called Crafteria (www.crafteria.net) and have launched a clothing line called Sexfruit Deity. In the meantime, I can be found learning to play bass in Brooklyn, New York.
