1. Reference (a) requires all military child care programs to obtain accreditation status with a nationally recognized organization. In order to meet this requirement, all military child care programs must meet the accreditation standards established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The Child and Youth Programs (CYP) Tuition Assistance . (TA) Program has been developed to further the professional development of CYP team members, and assist with achieving educational attainment levels for accreditation. 2. Enclosures (1) through (4) establish the policies, procedures and requirements for participation in the CYP TA program. Per reference (b), CNIC (N911) will utilize the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Uniform Funding and Management (UFM) process to fund the CYP TA Program. 3.
