Corey Thomaston is in his seventh at LeTourneau University and has a 39-113 record with the YellowJackets. Thomaston was honored by his peers following the 201213 season by being named ASC East Division Coach of the Year. That reason was evident as he took his YellowJackets and guided them to a 13-12 record, their first winning season since 2001-02, and guided to a tie for fourth place in the ASC East, also their highest finish in well over a decade. During his tenure at LeTourneau, Thomaston has placed five members on the All-ASC East Division squads, as well as four members on the All-ASC East team. He also coached the 2011-12 Newcomer of the Year in Sharday Cotton. Previously, he served as an assistant coach for the NCAA Division I Radford University women’s basketball program from 2002-07.
Drew Gaeng is in his first season as the interim head coach after spending the last four years as an assistant coach for the Warriors’ men’s basketball program.
