SETTING UP THE QBO SKILL FOR AMAZON ALEXA
Activating the “Qbo Skill” in the Amazon Alexa app m Open the Amazon Alexa app. m Select . m Select Skills.

First read the safety warnings carefully and only use the product as described in these instructions to avoid accidental injury or damage. Which functions of my Qbo Machine can I use via Amazon’s voice assistant Alexa? With the “Alexa Voice Control” function, you can speak to Alexa and an Amazon Echo device to start preparing drinks with your Qbo Machine either right away or up to 7 days in advance. In addition to standard drinks saved on your Qbo Machine, you can also prepare 10 individual drinks. You’ll learn how to do that at the end of these instructions. The following things must be prepared on your machine: • Wi-Fi switched on • Qbo capsule inserted • Cup placed under the coffee spout • Lever in a closed position • Enough water in the water tank • Capsule container not full • Drip tray inserted and not full • “Remote/Timed Brew” function must be activated in the Qbo App (please refer to the “Remote Brew” and “Timed Brew” Qbo instructions) Activating the “Alexa Voice Control” function in the Qbo App As the machine’s manager, you can activate the “Alexa Voice Control” function in the Qbo App. Proceed as follows: m Open the Qbo App. m Select the machines tab below. m Select the machine for which you would like to activate the function. m Select Settings. m Slide the control in the Alexa Voice Control field to the right.

m Enter “Qbo” in the search bar.
m Select ENABLE.

m Login with your Qbo Profile (email address and password).
m Select the time zone for your location. Done! Now you can operate your Qbo machine via Alexa.
Preparing individual drinks As well as the standard drinks saved on your Qbo Machine, you can also get 10 individual drinks prepared by Alexa. To prepare an individual drink via Alexa, it must first be created in the Qbo App by the manager of the Qbo Machine. To do this, the manager has to log into the app and save their drink creation under one of the “individual drinks” names listed in the Qbo App. You can then have the creation made for you by Alexa, by saying, for example: Alexa, start Qbo and make me My Favorite. Standard drinks - Ristretto - Espresso - Caffè - Caffè Grande - Espresso Macchiato - Capuccino - Caffè Latte - Milchkaffee - Iced Capuccino - Iced Caffè Latte - Iced Latte Macchiato - Cold Frothed Milk - Warm Frothed Milk
Individual drinks - Lieblingskaffee - Wunschkaffee - Morgenkaffee - Wachmacher - Muntermacher - My Favorite - Good Morning - Wake Up - My Dear - Energy Boost
Everyone around your Amazon Echo device can also start brewing drinks via Alexa. If you would prefer not to use this feature, you can mute the microphone on your Amazon Echo device, or deactivate the Alexa Voice Control in the Qbo App.
