Senior Pastor Report Pastor Jason (reporting while Pastor Tania is on sabbatical) Family tables in sanctuary- well received Jason attending Theological Probe Conference next Monday-Thursday with Rollie Martinson Young Dads Retreat this weekend in Northern Minnesota Conducting survey regarding Youth Program- asking questions to learn and look at different implications Lent- Asking questions about “Ashes to ashes- dust to dust” This year we have parallel journeys through Lent- not all related to same theme Council Retreat: Sunday, 2/28 12 noon-4pm Tania is in El Salvador for the 1st part of her sabbatical. Financial Report Jim Jim reviewed the Financial Report as Cindy was out ill. By-Law Review Update Jim Constitutional ReviewA preliminary internal review was conducted and the Council elected not to make any changes at this time. The motion was seconded and approved.. WECC Board By-law ReviewThe Council will be reviewing the WECC By-Laws after Pastor Tania returns from her winter sabbatical. Council Self- Assessment Jim/All The Self-Assessment was reviewed and important questions were discussed: How do we listen to the world? Members? Devotions? What’s working on Council/ What’s not? Secretary’s Report Sue January Council meeting minutes were approved as written Announcements, Updates/Other Business Jim/Jason/All Josh has stepped up to be part of the Senior Pastor Review Team 1
