CONDITIONS: 1. All classes will be run under ESNZ rules for local competitions. 2. Ponies may compete at this show. 3. Maximum 2 starts per horse or pony/day. 4. The organizing committee reserves the right to amend the program as it deems fit. 5. The organizing committee disclaims all liability in accordance with Article 163 of the ESNZ General Regulations 6. Yards must be left clean or a $20 fine will be imposed. 7. It is proposed that the TSB Indoor arena will be used for all classes so entries may be restricted to first 10 entries received per class. Additional entries may be accepted on a first come basis or following a scratching. 8. Official refund form available at www.dressagetaranaki.co.nz

We need volunteers – writers, runners, arena setting up, arena taking down etc etc. Many hands make light work. Running these shows involves an awful lot of work behind the scenes so anything you are able to help with is greatly appreciated. Please indicate intention to volunteer on Equestrian Entries – Thanks😊

Providing a safe event, safe equipment and proper materials Identifying and monitoring hazards and using the hazard management hierarchy of eliminate, isolate or minimise. Insist upon establishment of safe methods and best practices Comply with all H&S legislation, regulations and codes of practice

We will take responsibility for health and safety procedures, however, ALL PEOPLE ON THIS SITE need to be aware of their responsibilities and comply with the event’s health and safety policy. COMPETITORS will be responsible for themselves at ALL times by observing safe practices and rules/instructions relating to their competition. Every person involved in the Winter Tournament is encouraged to play a vital and responsible role in maintaining a safe and healthy event through: • • • • • • • • •

Being involved in the event health and safety system. Following correct procedures. Safe and proper use of equipment. Wearing protective clothing and equipment as and when required. Reporting any pain or discomfort as soon as possible. Ensuring all accidents and incidents are reported. Help new employees, trainees and visitors to understand the right safety procedures and why they exist. Informing the office immediately of any health and safety concerns. Keeping the event facilities tidy to minimise the risk of any trips and falls.
