Eagan Fast Pitch Board Meeting Minutes Meeting Date: February 9, 2014
5:00 – 6:00pm
Board Members: Dana Anderson-Glass - President Tom Bennerotte - Vice-President Chad Bailey - Treasurer Ken Sass - Website/Database Sue Bromen - MN Stars Club Jake Murphy - Equipment Manager Jeff Dierberger - In-House Coordinator Bobby Marsh – At Large Member Jacki Stalboerger - Community Dir. Kathy Schoeberl - Player & Coach Dev. Eric Kraushar - Tournament & Programs Promotions Coordinator Marty Jensen - Tournament Operations Coordinator Mike Schwendinger - Fields and Umpires Coordinator Melissa Goihl - Secretary OPEN: 2 At Large positions 5:00 – 5:10p Opening & Minutes Approval – Tom Approval of January minutes 5:10 – 5:15p Spring Registration Details - Jacki Opened registration Jan. 20th; Late fee March 1 12U players cannot play on Club Team in State of Minnesota 5:15 – 5:20p Down & Dirty Update - Eric 14 slots left Full for 12, 14 & 16s Deadline is May 1st 5:20 – 5:30p Winter Activities - Kathy Friday Night Dome-issues with 8s, they need more supervision. Consider alternating weeks for 8s next year so not as crowded. Consider doing blue flame and sliding in the outfield for them. Feb 28th is last night of Open Dome. Need parent helpers to run stations while our coaches are evaluating Rosemount. Jacki to send email. Next year-look into extending dome activities into Nov & Dec. 5:30 – 5:40p Tryouts - All Tryouts: March 7th & 14th; Rosemount Feb 28th & March 7th 12U/10U Pitchers, 12U catchers and 12U players on March 7th. 10U Players March 14th. Going to evaluate with Rosemount. Run 4 stations, 2 people per station. Possible to sell t-shirts by the door-Eric. 5:40 – 5:50p Coach Interviews - Tom Need 5 people from STARS to do coach interviews. Dana to reach out and recruit STARS people. Conduct coach interviews at Tom’s office 2/23.
