Brief Description of Activity
1 Host Job Fair
On October 8, 2015, our CEU co-hosted the Eagle Communications Job Fair in conjunction with Eagle Radio to expose interested individuals to various careers available in the communications industry. The General Manager and Director of Converged Media were available to visit with participants.
2 Management-level training regarding equal employment opportunity and preventing discrimination
On February 4, 2016, the General Manager and all levels of CEU management participated in the FCC's Equal Employment Opportunity Rules: The Nuts & Bolts for Eagle Cable Employment Units, presented by Elizabeth E. Goldin of Wiley Rein, LLP.
3 Host event/program sponsored by or on behalf of an educational institution relating to careers in broadcasting
On March 31, 2016, students from the Media and Society class at Fort Hays State University toured the Marketing office and spent time with the Graphic Designer, Event Specialist, Brand Manager and Social Media Director.
4 Participate in Job Fair
On April 6, 2016 our CEU participated in the Hays Area Job Fair. CEU participants included our Director of Human Resources.
5 Participate in event/program sponsored by or on behalf of an educational institution relating to careers in broadcasting
On September 14, 2016, our CEU participated in the Fort Hays State University Career Fair. CEU participants included our Talent Development Representative.
6 Internship Program
During this reporting period, our CEU hosted a student intern from Fort Hays State University. The student was supervised by and assisted our Marketing Brand Manager.
