September 8, 2016 Book Bills
Weekly Events Friday, September 9th Freshman Welcome 7:00 pm Varsity Home Football Game PVI vs. Cherry Hill East 7:00 pm Monday, September 12th All Students 8:00 am until 2:30 pm Students will begin wearing their summer uniforms through September 30th. Tuesday, September 13th College Fair at Camden Catholic High School 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 14th Sports Parent Meeting 7:00 pm in auditorium All student-athlete parents must attend whether they play a fall, winter or spring sport.
Any student who has not submitted their book bill payment must bring it into school on Monday, September 12th. If you do not know the amount of your book bill, submit a check made payable to “Paul VI High School” and we will let you know the amount on Monday. (Book bills were mailed August 8th). Students will not receive their books if their payment is not received.
Download Books For any student who did not complete downloading his or her books in school, go to iBooks and look for the directions on downloading the books for class. All students should have their books downloaded by Monday, September 12, 2016. If you encounter a problem, email Mr. Markellos.
Weekly Reflection As we continue to reflect on the canonization of Mother Teresa in this Year of Mercy, the very model of Mercy lived, we are challenged again by the beauty and truth of this week's readings. The Father joyously forgiving the prodigal son, the man risking all to find the lost sheep, the woman searching and searching for one lost coin. Love propels us to do the same. And we do! This Sunday's date is a challenging one for us as Americans. Justice, Mercy, Love: How do we live these truths? Please pray for all the 9/11 victims and their families. Pop up prayer returns...this Sunday we will be at Our Lady of Hope at the 10:30 am. Join us and wear your PVI Blue!
Eagles Nest is now online! Our school store is now online for your shopping convenience. The site will be open four times throughout the school year with delivery to Paul VI where you can pick up your items. The store is open now through Friday, September 16th. Delivery of items to Paul VI will take about 10 days from the close of each date. You will be notified of your pick up date on the website. Eagles Nest will be open for ordering on the following dates: November 4th—28th (for Christmas delivery), February 20th—March 10th, and May 1st—12th.
