CONDITIONS OF ENTRY Please read carefully – some are new/changed conditions
1. All classes run under ESNZ Rules. 2. Manual (paper) entries close Monday 5th Feburuary and MUST be received by this date. These must be on ESNZ rider forms and sent to: Event Secretary, Eastern Bay Dressage PO Box 207 Whakatane 3120. 3. Entries will not be accepted without full payment of entry & other fees. Payment MUST be received by the relevant closing date or will not be included in the Draw. Incorrect entries may be returned. Entries without the correct/current ESNZ registration will not be accepted. 4. Each rider must enter separately – ie do not enter several horses under one rider name if other people will be riding them. 5. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt (with payment confirmed), and are limited to 30 per class. For late entry requests please contact the Event Secretary (021387050). Accepted late entries will incur a nonrefundable $20 penalty per horse, payable before riding on the day. Class changes will also incur a nonrefundable $20 fee per class. 6. Please pay by internet banking – Eastern Bay Dressage, ANZ – 01-0349- 0069051- 00, or make cheques payable to Eastern Bay Dressage. Please use your name as a Reference. Entries are not valid until full payment of all fees is received. 7. Maximum of 2 tests per horse/pony per day. Maximum of 3 horses per rider. Ponies may compete against horses in all classes. One rider per horse/pony. 8. All horses competing in the Non Graded section must wear identification numbers which will be allocated and must be collected from the office PRIOR TO COMPETING. These must be worn for the duration of the show. 9. All horses must wear ID tags (with name and contact cell phone number) at all times on the grounds when not competing. 10. Draw available on www.equestrianentries.co.nz 11. Please notify scratchings – text/phone 021387050 or email [email protected]. Up to 80% of fees will be given prior to closing date, after closing date 50% will be refunded with a Vet, Farrier, or Doctors Certificate, accepted up to 7 days after the event. Refund is calculated after deduction of any online or manual entry fees, and the Administration Fee. Any refunds are paid at the discretion of the Committee. 12.No Liability will be accepted by Eastern Bay Dressage in the event of any accident or injury to horse, rider, spectator or property. 13. Any horses brought to the event but not competing must be registered at the Office and a Ground Fee paid. 14. Any riders under 18 years of age must complete a Declaration Form which must be signed by a parent or caregiver. This can be downloaded from our website, and must be presented to the office prior to the under 18 rider competing.
15. Prize money will be paid via internet banking after the show, into the bank account details entered into Equestrian Entries. 16. All yards and areas around floats & trucks must be left clean & tidy. Please place any hay/sawdust/manure etc in the areas designated for this. 17. Classes may be combined/cancelled if there are insufficient entries. 18.Under ESNZ membership rules all riders competing must be members of ESNZ, including for Non-Graded classes. For this you need to register under a “Community Membership” which is free. Go to www.nzequestrian.org.nz and sign up. Once you have registered you can enter. We will collect your details electronically. 19.Horse that are registered under Dressage NZ are not able to compete in the ungraded classes 20. NO DOGS TO BE BOUGHT ONTO THE GROUNDS 21. The OC reserves the right to refuse any entry or alter the schedule as necessary. 22. Cancellations will be posted on our Facebook page and via txt message. 23. There will be First Aiders on sight but no ambulance or vet.
