2nd Annual Chartwells/DCPS School Food Show: On December 16th, the Prime Osborn Convention Center hosted the 2nd Annual Chartwells/DCPS School Food Show. A tradition that began just last year, this school food showcase is a unique and creative way for the customers – Duval County Public Schools students - to speak their minds, and to offer valuable feedback which can be used to help the school system’s food service provider to offer healthy and delicious meals every day. Following last year’s showcase, more than 10 additional items approved by students were added to the school menus.

Dreams Come True Tournament:

Refreshes: Students at JWJ Middle School and Biltmore Elementary received a Refresh, courtesy of Chartwells and DCPS. New paint & lighting, digital menu boards, and some beautiful school-inspired graphics are just some of the features which are making kids smile this month!

Chartwells-Thompson was honored to be the title sponsor for DCPS’ Dreams Come True Basketball Tournament this past November at Mandarin High. We were able to help send young Isaiah, who is currently in remission, to Disney World and make his dream come true! We were also able to provide some delicious meals from the Brainfood Food Truck for the players and Dreamers at the tournament.
