** A special ‘National Disaster Leadership Forum’ is scheduled as a pre-conference
event. Designed for officers, staff, and volunteers with responsibility for leading the EDS program, this forum will feature key speakers and discussion on core disaster
services topics and issues. The event will kick-off with a casual, welcome reception on Monday night, April 18, with the full forum beginning on Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast. The forum will conclude in time for the opening plenary
session of the National CRD & EDS conference on Tuesday night. To confirm your attendance, please consult your with divisional or territorial EDS coordinator.
*** The National Disaster Leadership Forum will be held at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel. EDS delegates are encourage to stay at the Renaissance for the pre-conference EDS meeting and the full EDS conference event. The deadline to
book at rooms at the Renaissance hotel is Friday, March 25, 2016. **** Emotional & Spiritual Care is a two-day course. To receive credit for this
training, participants must attend both days of the class – April 20 & 21 from 8:30 a.m.– 5:00 p.m.
