Elmwood Park High School Office of the Principal October 2017 Dear Parents and Students: Greetings from Elmwood Park High School to the Class of 2022! We know the 2017-2018 school year has seemingly just begun, but we are looking forward to having your child as a student at Elmwood Park High School next year. High school is one of the the most influential times in a person’s life. It is during these formative years that our decisions affect who and what we are to become in the future. Over the next four years, every child will undergo a transformation that will help shape his or her college and career interests, social-emotional well being, and development as a productive contributor to society. Regardless of your child’s intended direction, Elmwood Park High School will provide you with the necessary tools to be successful during and after high school. To highlight these opportunities, Elmwood Park High School will be hosting our annual Curriculum Night, an Eighth-Grade Open House, for parents and students on Thursday, November 2 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Our Curriculum Night events include: 6:00-6:30 PM - Clubs and Activities (Cafeteria) 6:30-7:00 PM - Welcome by Administration and Overview (Auditorium) 7:00-8:00 PM - Learn about our Academic Offerings (Building Tours) Your child’s high school years are fast approaching and will go by even faster, but the education and experiences learned at Elmwood Park High School will be with him or her forever. Please join us on Thursday, November 2 from 6:00-8:00 PM at our annual Curriculum Night to gather the information necessary to make your child’s high school years as successful as possible. We at EPHS are committed to improving education and achieving excellence in all areas and I look forward to seeing you on November 2. Sincerely,
