Be inspired by the amazing survivors whose lives have been transformed at the 7UDQVLWLRQV¶Dream Home in Phnom Penh after being rescued from sexual slavery. We will begin to truly understand Cambodian culture, the depth of the problem of sexual trafficking, and how we can each help provide profound solutions. By combining our shared wisdom and talents, we will form world-changing alliances that last long after we've returned home. Participants will learn first-hand from Transitions and visits to partner organizations working to end human trafficking in Cambodia what we, as individuals, can do to help.

Testimonials from those whose lives have been forever changed after their engagement trips. "I knew ahead of time the work of Transitions was something important and changing the lives of victims. Visiting Cambodia personally completely opened my eyes and heart to a deeper understanding and inspiration. From listening first hand as to how girls are found, seeing the growth in programming at TG, visiting the TLC and learning the intricacy of the Program there, observing the dedicated staff; to the Girls living lives filled with hope, ũŽLJΘĚƌĞĂŵƐ͘/ǁĂƐůŝƚĞƌĂůůLJďůŽǁŶĂǁĂLJ͕/ŬĞƉƚƚŚŝŶŬŝŶŐ͕͞ƚŚĞƐĞƉĞŽƉůĞŚĂǀĞĨŝŐƵƌĞĚŝƚŽƵƚ͕ƚŚĞLJĂƌĞĚŽŝŶŐ sŽŵĞƚŚŝŶŐƚŚĂƚŝƐǁŽƌŬŝŶŐĂŶĚŐƌŽǁŝŶŐďĞƚƚĞƌĞĂĐŚĚĂLJ͘͟/ǁĂůŬĞĚĂǁĂLJĂǁŽŵĂŶĨŝůůĞĚƉĂƐƐŝŽŶƚŽĚŽĂůůƚŚĂƚ/ personally can to help this organization sustain and grow. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone who has the means and opportunity to visit Transitions in Cambodia to seize it. If you absorb yourself in this organization and the Country it is working in I believe you will be blessed beyond your wildest imagination. I have come away from our trip to Cambodia so thankful, humbled and changed.͟~ Leila Chiaravalle, Brand Navigation, Bend Org. ͞tŝƚŚůŝƚƚůĞĞdžƉĞĐƚĂƚŝŽŶƐŐŽŝŶŐŝŶƚŽƚŚĞƚƌŝƉ͕/ĚŝĚŶŽƚĂŶƚŝĐŝƉĂƚĞƚŚĞƉƌŽĨŽƵŶĚŝŵƉƌĞƐƐŝŽŶƚŚĞĂŵďŽĚŝĂŶƉĞŽƉůĞ͕ the team at Transitions and the girls they serve would have on me. A small glimpse into the world of young women trapped in sex trafficking and compared to those in the aftercare of Transitions provided a paradigm shift of realization for me. The girls are all essentially the same; those in sex trafficking have little or no hope, and those experiencing the transformative care of the Transitions team are full of hope and dreams. While the darkness and evil of sex trafficking is bigger than I realized, the people, work and methods of Transitions are a tangible and profound offensive shown in the transformation of each girls they serve. The experience has sent an echo into my heart that will continue into eternity.͟Bill Chiaravalle ͞You see it happening on the streets. You meet the girls that have survived the atrocities. You absolutely cannot help but to be affected. My heart cracked wide open and I knew that my life would never, ever be the same. The issue had always spoken to me, but going to Cambodia with Transitions triggered a powerful surge of activism in me. Transitions has found the key to unlocking the souls these girls had to lock away while they were enslaved...and there is nothing more powerfully beautiful than witnessing that happening first hand. Go on this trip. Be affected. And work for change!!͟ -‐ Steph Wilson ͟The engagement trip to Cambodia allowed me to experience what I would like to call the "beauty and the beast" of trafficking. . . The beauty of what Transitions is doing is heroic and completely incredible. They are restoring hope and futures. They are giving these girls the opportunity to dream again. And in return the girls of TG have inspired me to use the gifts and talents I've been blessed with to help make others aware of this injustice. From dancing to graphic design, I am shouting out for those who can't. -‐Lizzie Miller After visiting Transitions I cannot be more impressed with the work they are doing! James and Athena are truly remarkable individuals and the work they are doing in Phnom Penh is beyond compare! I will admit I went to Cambodia a bit naïve and uninformed about the sex trafficking taking place there. While in Cambodia I had the opportunity to meet and talk with young girls who havĞďĞĞŶĨŽƌĐĞĚŝŶƚŽƚŚŝƐ͞ŝŶĚƵƐƚƌLJ͟ĂŶĚƚŚĞLJůĞĨƚĂŚƵŐĞ impression on my heart. However, the biggest take away I have from the trip is the difference in the girls who have no hope of ever having a life outside of the brothels and the girls at Transitions, who are filled to the brim with hope! I talked to them about their plans, hopes and dreams for their futures and was in awe by the impact Transitions has had in the life of these girls. My experience in Cambodia and with Transitions was one I will never forget and one I am so grateful to have had.͟ -‐ Melissa McCreery, Kilns College
"I have been involved with the anti-‐human trafficking movement for over three years now. Most of my knowledge has come from books, attending conferences, etc. In August, I had the privilege of traveling to Cambodia to spend some time with the Ponds, staff, and girls at Transitions. Transitions blew my mind. The caliber of the staff and the quality of the services provided to these girls is phenomenal. I came away from Transitions convinced that their model should be the one replicated by all other aftercare facilities. And hearing where the girls are now who have "graduated" out of the TLC only confirms that. Transitions is a success story. It is a story of an amazing, gifted group of people who have given the very best of themselves so that a girl can actually attain her dream. They have my deepest respect and admiration."
