Empowering survivors of domestic violence through economic independence Renklikoy provides a path to economic independence to help abused women break the cycle of domestic violence 42% of women (13 million) in Turkey experience domestic violence in their lifetime. It is a vicious cycle that is difficult to escape, as women don’t have: 1.  Income to live an independent life

2. Vocational experience to find sustainable employment

Renklikoy’s economic empowerment model Build the Renklikoy brand

Partner with shelters

Hire women in the shelters

Relocate women in new jobs

Create an established brand starting with jam, as it has a big market

Identify survivors willing to start a new, independent life

Hire survivors, pay a salary for Renklikoy jam production

Help survivors find (new) jobs with our partner businesses

Profits will be used for growth and maximizing impact. As we reach market penetration, we will repeat the same strategy by partnering with consumer goods companies to expand to other food products and eventually exit through acquisition by an incumbent player looking to establish a socially responsible brand image.
