Sew the shorter 1 1/2” strips to the short sides. Using Fabric J, create borders by fussy cutting the strip pattern by cutting 3” long sides first, then cut 3” short sides. Sew short sides first , centering the print on the side. Sew long side matching the print to the short side. Finishing: Layer the Tablerunner top, batting, and backing. Quilt as desired. Trim excess fabric and batting next to Tablerunner. Sew the xxxx 2 1/2” strips (Fabric X) to make one long binding strip. Trim seam allowances to 1/4”. Fold strip in half lengthwise wrong sides together to make one long binding strip. Sew binding strip to the front of the table runner, turn over the edge to the back, pin and hand sew in place.
